Dodson Productions

I’ve always wanted to start a blog. To have a place where I could kinda just ramble on and not really have any repercussions. You can read it if you want. You don’t have to. It’s just for the select few that really get me and who I am.

Back in the era of a little album called “Emails I Can’t Send’ by Sabrina Carpenter, she started sending out little emails to her fans. Nothing crazy or anything, but a way to make her and her artistry feel a little more personal than it was before. I loved that she did that. She would sometimes talk about her music or her tour, but she often gave a small glimpse into her own life that people wouldn’t normal get. Not only was this album extremely powerful to me as I was working through falling in love after a long term relationship and painful breakup, but so were these sporadic little letters she gifted her fans. 

I made a promise with myself that when I finally got off my lazy ass and started putting work into my passion with Dodson Productions, I would write a blog. Very early 2000’s, I know. But I’m an ’02 baby, so I guess it checks out. I haven’t fully decided how this whole thing will work, but I am so excited to be more personal and to give myself over to the words on the page like I loved to do when I was a child.
